National Random Acts of Kindness

kindness wave

Happy Wednesday! With it being the smack-dab middle of the week, you may find yourself feeling a bit down and ready for the weekend. Or maybe it feels like another never-ending Monday. Or maybe today is your day and you are thriving in all aspects.

Whichever it may be, you can use your spirits to lift those up around on this day of National Random Acts of Kindness Day!

Don’t worry, you don’t have to spend a ton of money, or even any money at all, to participate in this national day.

Random acts of kindness will not only bring joy to those around you but to yourself as well. When you do something kind for someone else, you are going to feel good to.

  • Kindness is good for your heart
  • It can help you live longer
  • It reduces stress
  • It prevents illness

Put it o the test today! Buy someone a coffee, hold the door open, volunteer locally, or try any of these ideas:

  • Plant a tree
  • Message someone a kind message
  • Find out something new about a coworker
  • Write a positive comment on someone’s social media or blog post
  • Pay for the person in line behind you
  • Buy something local
  • Shovel your neighbor’s sidewalk or driveway

Random acts of kindness don’t have to be very exuberant, something small can make someone’s entire day. Give it a try, it may make your day as well!
