Q.        Who calls Renhill when a teacher will be absent?

A.        The district determines how Renhill is notified of an opening. Teachers may contact Renhill directly, or report through their building Principal / Supervisor.

 

Q.        We have substitutes who have worked in our district for years. What’s going to happen with them?

A.        We begin our relationship by working with the current sub list in your district, and place the same people who have been interested and available in your district in the past. We continue by recruiting from your community throughout the year.

 

Q.        Can we request a specific substitute Teacher?

A.        Absolutely. We begin by identifying how you would like your “Preferred Substitute List” structured, so that we are accommodating your requests.

 

Q.        What if we don’t want a particular substitute Teacher back?

A.        Contact your Renhill Account Manager and we will release that employee from the assignment. This is documented and the sub teacher will not be sent to that building again. Quality calls are made regularly to determine employee performance.

 

Q.        How do you recruit?

A.        We recognize that part of our value is in our ability to fill and place qualified employees. Our Marketing and Recruitment department utilizes all resources necessary to prepare for the needs of the districts we represent.
